Cavani linked with Italy return

Paris Saint Germain forward Edinson Cavani could be set to make a return to Serie A at the end of the season, according to the Express.

The Uruguay international has been linked with a move to England with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool monitoring his situation though a return to the Italian top flight has emerged as his most likely destination.

Cavani moved to the French capital in the summer of 2013, and has since racked up seventy-one appearances in all competitions, scoring forty-one goals while he was part of the squad that won the league and league cup double last season.

Internationally, he has been capped sixty-nine times for his country and appeared at both the 2010 and 2014 World Cup finals, scoring in both tournaments.

PSG currently sit third in the French top flight, two points behind leaders Lyon and they can now be backed at 2/5 to win what would be a third straight championship.
