Cavani set to leave Manchester United?

According to a recent report from Sunday Mirror, Manchester United are “losing the battle” to keep hold of Edinson Cavani this summer.

The veteran forward is reportedly interested in a move away from Old Trafford with Boca Juniors – among other clubs – being in the race to sign him.

However, there are some within United who believe they can convince him to stay in Manchester for at least one more year.

They face a battle in order to get that over the finish line but based on what he’s been able to produce for the club thus far, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be wise to put his best foot forward with this.

Cavani has been there and done it all in this game and it does feel as if he wants a change of scenery, but if United can come forward with an impressive enough offer, there’s no reason to believe they can’t get it done.
