Paris Saint-Germain‘s Edinson Cavani has revealed his desire to stay at the Parc des Princes for a long time, according to Sky Sports.
Throughout the season there have been reports of Cavani’s dissatisfaction and poor relationship with Neymar, and he seemed likely to leave the club soon. Given the world-record transfer fee spent on the Brazilian, it wasn’t expected the club would side with Cavani in such a spat.
However, his contribution cannot be doubted. The striker has has made 45 appearances in all competitions for the club this season and scored 38 goals, of which 27 have helped the Parisians win their fifth League 1 title in last six seasons.
Apparently, the Uruguay international told Canal Plus that he’s under contract at PSG and that he feels good there. Although, he added that such things don’t always depend on the player alone, he said he is happy there and hopes to continue winning things in the same club shirt.
