Cazorla interested in Arsenal switch

The Mirror understands that Malaga winger Santi Cazorla is tempted by the reported interest from Arsenal.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on the Spain international, who is valued at £16 million.

The highly rated midfielder has a €45 million release clause inserted in his deal, but could leave for lot less as Malaga continue to battle severe financial problems.

Spanish FA are threatening to punish Malaga over unpaid transfer fees and wages, and los Boquerones could see a number of high-profile players leave as a result of the unexpected crisis.

Santi Cazorla, who only joined Malaga last summer from Villarreal, could be the first one to leave, given that he is very keen on Arsenal switch.

The 27-year-old, who made two substitute appearances for Spain at the Euro 2012, has scored 9 goals and produced 5 assists in 38 La Liga games for the La Rosaleda outfit.
