According to a recent report from Press Association, Dani Ceballos is expected to return to Real Madrid once his loan spell with Arsenal comes to an end.
Ceballos has spent the last two seasons on loan with Arsenal and looks set to make his 50th Premier League appearance for the club when they take on Crystal Palace next week.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t quite been able to cement a long term, consistent place in the starting XI, with the aforementioned report indicating that he isn’t likely to remain at the club with a permanent transfer or a third loan spell.
It’s all been about flashes of brilliance for Ceballos across his time at the Emirates and even though they’ve been few and far between, many Gunners supporters won’t be able to help but wonder what could’ve happened if he could maintain that consistent level across a stretch of big Premier League games.
