Ceballos set for Arsenal medical

According to a recent report from Sky sources, Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is currently in North London ahead of a medical with Premier League side Arsenal. A season-long loan deal is said to have been agreed by the two European giants, with Ceballos initially wanting to stick it out at Real in order to try and break into the first team. Now, though, he realises that he probably isn’t going to feature into Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the upcoming season, which is why the Gunners are more than happy to take advantage of that fact.

Ceballos is arguably one of the most exciting youngsters in European football today, and as we look ahead to the new campaign, there’s a very good chance that he could be one of the stand out signings for Unai Emery’s men.

Either way, this serves as a big step forward in this summer’s transfer window for the club.
