Ceballos to stay at Real Madrid

According to a recent report from Marca, Dani Ceballos is set to stay at Real Madrid despite a significant amount of interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan. His performances at the Under-21 European Championships certainly turned some heads over the summer, to the point where Real have been convinced not to sell him. At one point it seemed as if Ceballos was going to be leaving on nothing more than a loan deal, due to the fact that he was interested in the idea of returning to Real somewhere down the road. Now, though, he could be heavily featured in Real’s plans moving forward, as Zinedine Zidane goes in search of both domestic and European glory next season.

Of course, there’s always the possibility of this being nothing more than a negotiation tactic, which could end up seeing Ceballos confirm his signing with a new club within a matter of days if not weeks.
