Dani Ceballos is having another blast at the UEFA Under-21 Euros. Two years ago he led Spain to a runners-up finish with great performances throughout the tournament and now Spain are back in the final, once again against Germany. But after the semifinal win over France, Ceballos wanted to reflect his club situation.
Talking to Onda Cero, he insisted that he wanted to stay at Real Madrid.
“I don’t want to be sold. I want to enjoy myself and feel important, wherever that may be. I have a bit of experience and I believe that next year will be my best year [yet]”, Ceballos said before continuing.
“I play to have fun. I really want to show what I’m good at. This year hasn’t been my best season. I wanted to get things off my chest”, the Spaniard was frank.
Whether he gets a chance at Real Madrid after a spending spree or not, he will have plenty of suitors either way, with Tottenham Hotspur mentioned as an interested club.
