Czech keeper Petr Cech has revealed his plans to end his playing career at Stamford Bridge.
The highly rated goalkeeper joined Chelsea from Rennes in August 2004 and quickly became an indispensable member of the starting line-up in London.
Cech did suffer a small dip in form after the head injury he sustained in October 2006, but has since returned to the right track and has been in amazing form this season.
Even though he was recently linked with a summer exit from Stamford Bridge, the Czech Republic international says he is perfectly happy at Chelsea.
“No and I hope I will never have to think about that. My family and I am satisfied here,” he told Czech newspaper Pravo.
“Chelsea suits me as well as life in England does. Most importantly, I enjoy playing football at full stadiums and in a great match atmosphere. You won’t find atmosphere like this anywhere else in the world.
“As long as I enjoy football and my body works and as long as people want me to play. As soon as one of these things stops being positive it will be the end. For the present, I’m not thinking about it.”
Cech has amassed over 350 appearances for the Blues since joining the club eight years ago and he has featured in more than 250 Premier League games.
The experienced keeper has been in impressive form this term, helping the Blues reach Champions League and FA Cup final.
