According to Fabrizio Romano, Celta Vigo star Gabri Veiga has hired Pini Zahavi as his agent, ahead of what could be the summer he leaves his current club.
Having risen through the youth ranks at Celta, Veiga earned first-team promotion last summer and his talents have caught the eyes of many around Europe. The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, but also Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, have all been credited with interest in the 20-year-old attacking midfielder.
As for Celta, their position hasn’t changed. Apparently, there is a €40 million release clause in Veiga’s contract which has three years left to run, and the La Liga side have no intention of negotiating at all. Any club seriously interested in signing the youngster will have to offer the full figure defined in that clause.
