Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano could soon be moving to Celta Vigo, according to his current employers.
One of Mexico’s hottest prospects has caught the eye of quite a few top European sides such as Man Utd, Benfica, Ajax and PSV Eindhoven and a summer exit appears on the cards.
“I feel good, ready and prepared to get better and to play in a more competitive (league),” Lozano told Nacion ESPN on Tuesday.
“People have told me that I have the possibility of going to play in a better, stronger league and hopefully I can improve my football.”
Celta Vigo are also believed to be keen on Lozano and Pachuca chiefs have advised their star player to accept an offer from Balaidos.
“They are one of the teams that most attracts us,” Pachuca president Jesus Martinez said. “There are a lot of other teams, he has a lot of offers and I believe that (Celta) are a team who suit us as much as the player… It would be an ideal club for him.”
The two clubs established a cooperation a while back and no wonder that the Mexican side want Lozano to join Celta Vigo in the summer.
Despite his fragile age, the 21-year-old has been performing at a very high level for several years now and he has managed 39 goals and 27 assists in 129 competitive outings for Pachuca.
