Celtic 3/5 to beat St. Mirren to nil in Wednesday’s Premiership contest

Competition: Scottish Premiership

Market: Celtic win to nil

Odds: 3/5 @ Bet 365

Hoping to build a buffer between themselves and Rangers, a high-flying Celtic will welcome St. Mirren to Glasgow on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, once again stealing the show and picking up a 4-0 win over Aberdeen on Saturday, Celtic find the mood in their camp continuing to soar. Batting from behind to pick up a 2-1 win over former Italian champions Lazio and moving one step closer to a spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Europa League, Head Coach Neil Lennon has seen his men win their last three matchups since returning from the international break. One man who has continued to shine this season has been the red-hot Odsonne Edouard. Once again finding the net over the weekend, the French starlet has three in his last three and should be confident of extending that tally in midweek.

As for the visitors, suffering a 1-0 loss away at Kilmarnock over the weekend, St. Mirren once again find themselves scrapping at the foot of the table. Only just managing to avoid the drop over the summer, Jim Goodwin’s men have recorded just one win since the start of August and now hold just a one-point buffer from sipping to the foot of the Premiership. Also losing six of their last eight appearances, a huge part of their continued issues has come down to some woeful displays away from the Simple Digital Arena. St. Mirren have lost each of their five matches on the road and have gone over 200 minutes without recording an away strike.
