Competition: Champions League
Market: Celtic to qualify for playoffs
Odds: 3/1 @ William Hill
While Scottish Premier League champions Celtic lost the first leg of their third round qualifying game against Legia Warsaw, the Bhoys are holding out slim hope of coming back from a 4-1 aggregate deficit.
Manager Ronny Deila wants his team with more determination and fight to overturn the result, but it will be a very tough task. Celtic will need to win 3-0 or by a larger goal margin. If they win by a three-goal margin but concede more than one goal in the process they will be eliminated by away goals.
A 4-1 result would see the tie go to extra time, so the Scottish giants cannot afford to concede a goal or their task becomes all the more harder. William Hill are giving odds of 3/1 for the SPL side to qualify for the Champions League playoffs by sees past Legia comfortably in tonight’s crunch meeting.
It could be a defining moment for new manager Ronny Deila.
