Scottish Premiership side Celtic welcome Kazakhstan Premier League outfit FC Astana to Celtic Park in the second leg of the third round of tonight’s Champions League qualifier, and are big favourites to come out on top to reach the playoffs.
The two sides played out a stalemate in the first leg at the Astana Arena, putting Celtic in the driving seat with an away goal and home advantage this evening. Brendan Rodgers’ side haven’t too convincing in the competition just yet, but their home form is likely to see them over the line in comfortable fashion.
In the second round and third round of their Champions League qualifiers, it’s been the away leg that has seen them struggle. The Scottish side, however, lost just once at Celtic Park in the league last season so they’ll fancy their chances against any side at home.
