Celtic and Swansea City are interested in signing Joel Randall from Exeter City in the January transfer window, according to The Athletic. It has been reported that the Scottish Premiership giants and the English Championship club have expressed interest in securing the services of the young midfielder this month.
Randall is a very talented and promising young player who has established himself as a key player for Exeter this season. According to WhoScored, the youngster has made 18 starts and one substitute appearance in League Two for Exeter so far this season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process.
Celtic are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 43 points from 19 matches, as many as 19 points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 22 games. Meanwhile, Swansea currently find themselves second in the Championship table with 43 points from 23 matches, just four points behind leaders Norwich City.
