Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic have been showing interest in Red Star winger Srdjan Plavsic, according to Scottish Daily Mail.
The Bhoys scouts actually came to Serbia to see talented goalkeeper Filip Manojlovic in action, but they were thoroughly impressed with his teammate.
Celtic are now keen on bringing Plavsic to Parkhead at the earliest opportunity and they believe they can secure his services for £1.5 million.
Plavsic has been one of Red Star’s best performers this season, having managed 8 goals and 5 assists in 33 competitive appearances.
The 21-year-old is capable of operating on either wing or through the middle as an attacking midfielder and he recently made his national team debut.
Plavsic has another year left on his deal at Red Star and while the club chiefs would prefer to keep hold of his services, they may be forced to sell due to a difficult financial situation.
