Celtic interested in Hart

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Celtic have made an official approach to try and sign Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The signing of Pierluigi Gollini now means that Hart will be surplus to requirements in North London with Gollini being the man to fight it out with Hugo Lloris for the number one spot.

Hart still has one year left on the deal he signed last summer with Celtic watching the situation very closely. The Scottish giants clearly want to make some kind of splash in the summer transfer window and while Hart may not be the juggernaut he once was, he can still do a job for them.

The next step in this equation will surely be for him to make the move and while some may see it as a step backwards, it could easily be the kind of transfer that revitalises his once promising career.
