Celtic are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. Tierney is on loan at Real Sociedad at the moment and is scheduled to return to his parent club Arsenal at the end of the season. The Gunners are willing to cash in on the 26-year-old Scotland international left-back for £25 million.
Tierney is a former Celtic player and was a huge success at the Hoops. Celtic are keeping tabs on the left-back, but they are unlikely to be able to afford the £25 million transfer fee that Arsenal are looking for him. Tierney has made 11 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Sociedad this season, providing two assists in the process.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 71 points from 31 matches, level on points with second-placed Liverpool on goal difference. As for Celtic, the Hoops are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 75 points from 32 games, a point ahead of second-placed and Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 31 matches.
