Celtic are interested in signing Omar Colley from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. It has been reported that the Scottish Premiership giants have made an enquiry for the central defender.
Sampdoria are looking for £10 million for the centre-back, but the Italian club are open to negotiations over the transfer fee, according to the report. It has been further added that although Celtic have enquired for the 27-year-old, the Hoops have not made a bid for the Gambia international.
Celtic recently signed Shane Duffy on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion. It seems that manager Neil Lennon is still looking for defensive reinforcement, and he might need it, with Sky Sports reporting that representatives of centre-back Kristoffer Ajer have asked the club how much they would be looking for the Norway international to sell him this summer.
