Celtic have announced the signing of former France international Olivier Kapo on a free contract.
The 30-year-old Frenchman has been a free agent after being released by Wigan last summer and he has signed a short-term deal with the Bhoys.
His transfer will become officials subject to international clearance with Kapo given another chance to kick-start his career.
The player himself was delighted that move was made official.
“Celtic is a wonderful club and I will be trying to get my full power as soon as possible to work for Neil Lennon and the team,” said the Frenchman.
“It’s a great club with a lot of history and I have had the chance to know about Celtic when watching the Champions League, so when the opportunity was given to me I just couldn’t refuse.”
“I know the club quite well through the Champions League and the Glasgow derby, which you can’t miss, and also because of my friend Perrier-Doumbe who used to play for Celtic.
