Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea are well known for sending their young players far and wide on loan without really giving many of them a chance to break into their own first team. Unsurprisingly then another of their starlets could be shipped out during this transfer window, with Charly Musonda being linked with a move to Celtic, according to the Mail.
The 21-year old could be set for an 18-month loan, if reports are to be believed, which should give him a good run at some consistent minutes as part of an impressive Celtic team. The Sottish giants currently lead the SPL by 11 points over rivals Rangers, and should deliver yet another title this season.
Musonda meanwhile has spent the past two seasons on loan at Real Betis, though he never quite managed to impress enough to garner much playing time. This season he has made three substitute appearances in the Premier League, and needs a move in order to advance his career.
