Celtic want Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman

Celtic are interested in signing Freddie Woodman from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. It has been reported that the Scottish Premiership giants have enquired about the goalkeeper during discussions with the Premier League club over the transfer of Kristoffer Ajer.

Newcastle are interested in signing Ajer from Celtic this summer. The Norway international central defender himself wants to leave the Hoops. The Glasgow giants are looking for a new goalkeeper and have identified Woodman as a potential transfer target.

The 24-year-old has yet to establish himself in the Newcastle first team and has been out on loan for the past few years. The English goalkeeper spent the past two seasons out on loan at Swansea City in the Championship.
