Celtic want to sign Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney

Celtic are interested in signing Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney, according to Football Insider. Tierney is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and the Scotland international defender’s former club Celtic are keen on snapping him up on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.

Tierney is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season. With the Gunners deciding not to take up the option to activate a one-year extension, the 27-year-old is free to agree a pre-contract with a club outside the Premier League. Celtic are reportedly working on such a deal to bring Tierney back to Celtic Park.

Arsenal, linked with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, signed Tierney from Celtic in the summer of 2019. Much was expected of the left-back when he made the move to the Emirates Stadium, but he had injury problems and also faced competition for places. Tierney has scored three goals, given eight assists and kept 19 clean sheets 91 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
