Premier League title chasers Chelsea were held to a goalless draw by resilient Everton on Sunday which is the result that now keeps them four points behind leaders Manchester City and two away from runners-up Liverpool.
The Blues did everything in their power to win the game – and we mean EVERYTHING.
Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was the one leading the way with his ingenuity and cunningness for which many are now calling the FA to suspend him.
Namely, the Spaniard picked up the referee’s spray with his hands and moved it a further yard when the ref wasn’t looking to gain an extra footing with a free-kick.
These antics did not give him an extra advantage, however, as the dead ball did not lead to a goal.
Have a look.
Referee sprays grass. Fabregas PICKS UP SPRAY and places it further forward to gain a yard at a free kick. Have you ever seen a more petty form of cheating? Desperate, cynical club. @ChelseaFC @premierleague @SkySports pic.twitter.com/AV9nQyl0yT
