Cesena have confirmed that they would be prepared to sell star midfielder Marco Parolo if the right offer comes in.
The Dino Manuzzi outfit are struggling to escape the Serie A relegation zone and they are desperate to keep hold of their most prized asset.
However, Cesena sporting director Lorenzo Minotti admits that the club would not be able to resist a big money offer for Parolo.
“We cannot ordinarily part with Parolo, but if we receive a suitable offer, we could not afford to not think about it as a transfer of goods, as we did last year with Nagatomo,” Minotti said to Radio Goal, a program aired on Kiss Kiss Napoli.
Marco Parolo arrived to Cesena on a free transfer from Hellas Verona in the summer of 2009 and has since become a key player for Cavallucci Marini.
The 27-year-old has been widely tipped to join one of the big Italian clubs in January, with Lazio, Udinese and Fiorentina all linked to the highly regarded midfielder.
Parolo has been in very good form this season, starting 18 Serie A games for Cesena, whereas he was handed a national team debut in March 2011.
