Cardiff City and Leicester City played out a goalless draw in the lone Sunday fixture in the Championship.
Both sides entered the match on four-match unbeaten streaks and as a result, occupied spots in the top half of the table.
But neither team could convert that form into goals, with Cardiff manager Malky Mackay having a particularly frustrating afternoon on the sidelines.
Mackay was forced to substitute winger Craig Conway due to injury, but his replacement, Robert Earnshaw, also needed to be taken off with a problem before half-time.
Mark Hudson then made it three Cardiff players who were required to be replaced when he was swapped at the break for Darcy Blake, but Mackay’s men battled on valiantly.
As the game grew older, Leicester began to dominate, although they struggled to break down a Cardiff defence marshalled by man-of-the-match Anthony Gerrard.
There were some late chances for Leicester though, with Andy King blazing over before Darius Vassell’s header bounced off the crossbar in stoppage time.
