Championship duo Derby County and Fulham are battling to secure the services of Manchester United front man James Wilson, according to the Express.
The twenty year old spent most of last season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion and could be set for a return to the second tier after falling further down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
He made twenty-seven appearances for the Seagull’s, scoring seven goals while he has racked up just twenty games for his parent club, scoring four times.
The forward made his England U21 debut last September and scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over the United States.
Derby currently sit in sixteenth place in the Championship with one win, one draw and one defeat while Fulham are unbeaten but on the lookout for a replacement for Ross McCormack who has moved to Aston Villa.
