Leeds United will look to return to winning ways when they travel to Nottingham Forest in the pick of the fixtures from matchday twenty-six.

The league leaders winning run was halted after seven games with Hull City securing a 2-0 triumph at Elland Road on Saturday.

Norwich City’s defeat to Derby County ensured that Marcelo Bielsa’s side remain three points clear at the top though Marcelo Bielsa’s side will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways as they face a Forest side who are without a win in five.

Rumours

The East Midlands side have also failed to score in four of those games and could well be looking for a new manager if things don’t change soon with rumours that Aitor Karanka’s position in under threat gathering pace, despite the support of a good number of the Forest faithful.

Second place Norwich, who have scored six in their last two games but taken just one point from them travel to Brentford while West Bromwich Albion will look to keep the pressure on the top two as they travel to Blackburn Rovers.

The Baggies are unbeaten in their last nine games but needed a last ditch own goal from David Jones to keep that run alive as they drew against Sheffield Wednesday at the Hawthorns.

Relentless

Despite being tipped to fall away by many, Sheffield United are the only side in the top half of the table to have ended 2018 with back-to-back victories.

They will look to make it a hat-trick of wins as they travel to Wigan Athletic, with their promotion odds currently standing at 7/4.

Fifth meets six at Pride Park with Derby County taking on Middlesbrough – the sides separated by just goal difference while Birmingham City and Queens Park Rangers, who are also level on points will be looking to edge closer to the top six as they travel to Wednesday and Aston Villa respectively.

Another two sides who are separated by goal difference face each other at the Bet 365 Stadium, with Stoke City taking on Bristol City.

Reeling

Swansea City, who’s feint hopes of promotion have suffered a hit after they’ve taken just a point from the last nine available to them, travel to second-from-bottom Reading while Ipswich Town host Millwall knowing that another defeat could see them end the day ten points from safety.

The Lions are three points above the dotted line after back-to-back victories while Hull will look to continue their resurgence as they welcome Bolton Wanderers to the KCOM Stadium.

Rotherham United, who slipped into the relegation zone after losing narrowly to Bristol City face Preston North End at the New York Stadium.
