Newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion shocked Championship title contenders Cardiff City 3-1 in Wales on Wednesday.
The League One champions went ahead on 39 minutes with a long range effort from Ashley Barnes, before the striker made it 2-0 from the penalty spot just after the hour mark.
Will Hoskins sealed the contest with an 87th-minute goal, before Cardiff’s Peter Whittingham scored a consolation penalty late.
It maintained Brighton’s winning streak in their first campaign up in English football’s second tier, moving them level with Derby and Southampton on nine points after three games.
Derby continued their strong start to the season with a 1-0 win away at Blackpool, Craig Bryson striking the winner in the 69th minute.
In other matches, a brace from Nicky Maynard helped Bristol City to a 2-1 away win over Leicester, while Peterborough United produced a dramatic comeback to earn a point away at Millwall 2-2.
Millwall lead via goals to Liam Trotter and Hameur Bouazza, but two strikes in the space of three second-half minutes earned Darren Ferguson’s visitors a valuable draw.
