Competition: Premier League

Market: Chelsea to beat Everton

Odds: 8/13 @ Bet365

The Premier League continues at the weekend with a glut of matches to whet the appetite of every football fan. There are a massive nine games to come on Saturday, and with the festive period allowing no time to rest, now is not the time for a team to embark upon a poor run of form. With all of this in mind, Everton host Chelsea on Saturday.

Everton have undergone a remarkable rejuvenation of late and they look more like the team that many thought they would be this season. In their last five games they are unbeaten, winning four times and drawing once, which has seen the side up to ninth in the league with 25 points. Considering they were staring a relegation battle in the face a few weeks ago, it is incredible that they are now just nine points short of a Champions League spot. Everton will be desperate to continue their winning run, and a victory over Chelsea would really hammer home the fact that they are now a completely different team.

Chelsea have also been in good form recently and they are looking to keep the pressure up on Manchester United. After 18 games, the Blues have collected 41 points, while in their last five they have won four times and lost just once. While Manchester City are 14 points ahead, United can be caught if the Blues win one game and Jose Mourinho’s men lose. Therefore, Antonio Conte will be desperate to maintain their good run of form, and with all of this in mind, we are backing Chelsea with odds of 8/13 from Bet365.
