Competition: Premier League
Market: Chelsea to win the title
Odds: 9/4 @ Betfair

After ending 2013/14 trophyless, Chelsea are looking for revenge in the Premier League next season. The Blues, managed by Jose Mourinho finished third in the league, matching their finish of the 2012/13 campaign despite having spent around £120M in the summer.

But Mourinho doesn’t often get it wrong twice with the same club. He was 90 minutes away from the Champions League final, and finished the season just four points off the top spot.

As a result, Betfair are giving odds of 9/4 for Chelsea to win the Premier League next season. The Londoners will be signing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa in the summer, so their attacking options will be greatly boosted.

They are also likely to spend money on a new central midfielder and left-back, as veteran Frank Lampard & Ashley Cole have not be offered new deals with the club this summer.

It will be somewhat of a new look to Chelsea in 2014/15, but under Mourinho it should be one which challenges for the title again.
