The summer transfer window is slowly approaching. We are already more than a month away from the last transfer window and June and July will be there very soon. That is why Premier League clubs are now planning for the moves they are going to make when the season ends. And Chelsea and Leicester City could be making the same move.
According to a report from Portuguese A Bola, both clubs are currently considering making a bid for Porto defender Alex Telles. The Brazilian is playing as a left-back and he could be of interest for both sides. The reasoning is simply – Chelsea are preparing to offload Marcos Alonso, as there are Serie A clubs considering signing him and in that case, Telles would be there to improve the Blues. But the Foxes have a similar outlook.
Their own Ben Chilwell could be on the move if Man City come calling and Telles would be ideal option for them. According to A Bola, the player’s release clause is 40 million euros.
