Chelsea and Manchester City in for Bony

Premier League title rivals Chelsea and Manchester City are ready to battle for the services of Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony, according to the Mail Online.

The Ivory Coast international, who has scored more Premier League goals than anyone else this calendar year, recently signed a new deal with the South Wales club that runs until 2018.

However, both the reigning champions and current league leaders are desperate to bring him in for the second half of the season, with just three points separating the sides in the race for the championship.

Since arriving at the Liberty Stadium, the 26 year old has racked up sixty-two appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-two goals while he was even more prolific in his spell with Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch Eredivise, which came prior to his switch to the English top flight.

Swansea travel to Queens Park Rangers tomorrow afternoon, and can be backed at 6/4 to take all three points.
