Crucially for both English clubs, the former Arsenal man qualifies as a home grown player having spent six years with the North London club earlier is his career, three of which were before his twenty-first birthday.
Song is expected to play his final game in claret and blue as Sam Allardyce’s side travel to relegation threatened Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon, with the Hammers priced at 15/4 for the win.
