Chelsea & Arsenal want Anderlecht youngster

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal are both interested in the possibility of signing Anderlecht youngster Jeremy Doku. At the age of just 17 years old he has already made 14 appearances in the senior team for the club, and as we look ahead to the future, it certainly seems as if Anderlecht themselves are going to be trying to keep hold of him and turn him into one of their biggest stars – if Vincent Kompany has anything to say about it, of course.

Doku has been turning heads for quite some time now, but arguably the bigger story here is that it’s two Premier League sides that are interested in him. There’s a very good chance that neither the Blues nor the Gunners would slot him straight into the first team squad, and instead, they’d allow for some development, which would likely lead to a few loan spells around Europe.
