Olivier Giroud is reportedly keen to leave Chelsea in January in search of regular game-time to avoid losing his place in the France squad ahead of next year’s European championship.
The experienced striker grabbed Chelsea a late winner away to Rennes on Tuesday which secured the team’s passage to the Champions League knockout stages. Manager Frank Lampard obviously wants the player who so often makes a difference to stay put.
