Chelsea central defender Fikayo Tomori is reluctant to move to Everton, according to TEAMtalk. It has been reported that Everton are interested in signing Tomori from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, but the 22-year-old is convinced that he can fight for his place in manager Frank Lampard’s starting lineup.
However, according to the report, Chelsea have made Tomori available for transfer and are looking to move on the youngster. The 22-year-old has been on the books of the London club since 2005 and was part of the Blues’ first team last season.
According to WhoScored, the England international centre-back scored one goal in 15 Premier League matches for Chelsea last season. However, the Blues have signed veteran Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva in the summer transfer window on a free, and the former Paris Saint-Germain star will be a key figure at the back for team this campaign.
