The Football Association has confirmed it has received a claim for wrongful dismissal from Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
The England international was sent off for a challenge on Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso in the second half of Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat at Anfield on Sunday.
