Santos forward Gabigol is currently one of the most valuable assets in Brazilian football with Europe’s top clubs standing in line for a chance to sign the player dubbed the next Neymar.
The 19-year-old Gabriel Barbosa, universally known as Gabigol is on the verge of sealing a Premier League move according to Globo Esporte.
Brazilian media outlet suggests that Chelsea have already made a €30 million bid, which is ten million above the offer Italian champions Juventus have submitted for the player.
Brazilian hot-shot was expected to travel to Turin next week, but seeing that Chelsea have topped the bid from Serie A giants, Gabigol might in the end go to Stamford Bridge instead.
Santos have set a release clause in excess of €50 million for their sensation, but are ready to take Chelsea’s offer into serious consideration for the player who has seen his stock go through astonishing rise in just a couple of months.
Gabigol has been at Santos for three years and has already made 151 appearances with 55 goals for the Brazilian giants.
