Everything has been agreed and signed by both clubs and the player and his camp, and the forward will complete the move to Stamford Bridge and become officially a Chelsea player on July 1st, 2023.

Chelsea were reportedly close to signing Nkunku at the end of this year’s summer window, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement in time for the medical and necessary paperwork to be done before the deadline.
The London Blues have been investing heavily into their attacking ranks for several years, now. They weren’t afraid to spend big on Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Romelu Lukaku, and not all of those transfers worked out the way they had hoped. They are also reportedly close to signing 19-year-old David Datro Fofana from Malmo FF, though it should be said that they’ve been deprived of the services of Armando Broja for the rest of the season, after the Albania international suffered a torn ACL.
