Chelsea consider move for ‘young Mbappe’

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Chelsea are contemplating a move for Monaco youngster Melamine Efekele. The 15-year-old sensation has been heavily compared with former Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, with the Blues monitoring his progress with the club over the last few months.

His versatility lies in his ability to play on either side of the wing, and he was actually coached by Mbappe’s father during his days at AS Bondy.

While it’s usually pretty difficult to determine whether a young teenager is going to become the next big thing, it certainly helps when you’ve got the kind of backing that Efekele currently has.

Mbappe is easily one of the best players in world football right now and has a few years left before he even comes into his prime. With that in mind, we could have a very scary prospect on our hands if Efekele lives up to his potential.
