Chelsea contact agents of Xavi Simons

Chelsea are interested in signing Xavi Simons from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Chelsea scouts have been keeping a close eye on Simons and are extremely keen on securing his services.

TEAMtalk has claimed that Chelsea have made contact with the agents of Simons, who has been playing on loan at RB Leipzig this season. However, PSG do not want to lose the 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. The French giants value the Netherlands international highly and are keen on keeping him at the club for the long run.

Simons has scored seven goals and given 11 assists in 30 Bundesliga matches for RB Leipzig this season. The 21-year-old has also scored two goals and given two assists in seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
