According to Sky Italia, Chelsea are still incredibly interested in bringing Gonzalo Higuain to the club. The 30-year-old Argentine has been linked with a move away from Juventus throughout the majority of the summer transfer window, with the incoming arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo supposedly being a catalyst for his impending departure.
Maurizio Sarri, the new Chelsea manager, coached Higuain at Napoli which could wind up helping the Blues’ cause as they attempt to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Another club that are said to be interested in Higuain is AC Milan, who are also attempting to rebuild themselves in order to make a push for the top four in Serie A.
Higuain has been with the Italian champions for two years now, ever since making the jump over from the aforementioned Napoli. Many fans have always wanted to see Higuain in the Premier League, and it seems as if this is the closest it’s ever been to actually happening.
