Chelsea could bid for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi

Chelsea are interested in signing Marc Guehi from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Chelsea have considered a move for Guehi as a potential replacement for Thiago Silva, who has announced that he is leaving the Blues at the end of the season.

Guehi is on the sidelines at the moment due to an injury, but when he played for Palace this season, the 23-year-old was superb. The England international is one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League and has a bright future ahead of him.

Chelsea are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 48 points from 33 matches, six points behind Manchester United, who are sixth and have played 34 games. Meanwhile, Palace currently find themselves 14th in the league table with 40 points from 35 matches.
