Chelsea are set to face Copenhagen in the last 16 of the UEFA Conference League after Thursday’s draw pitted them against the Danish Superliga leaders.
Enzo Maresca’s side cruised through the league stage, winning all six of their matches while largely fielding a different team to the one that played in the Premier League.
The Blues produced the biggest-ever win in the competition’s history when they beat Noah 8-0, while striker Marc Guiu is the joint-leading goalscorer in the tournament with six.
Their reward is a two-legged tie against Copenhagen, who beat Heidenheim after extra time in the play-off round to reach this stage.
The winner of that tie will take on either Molde or Legia Warsaw in the quarter-finals, while Pafos v Djurgarden and Borac vs SK Rapid are also on Chelsea’s half of the draw.
Fiorentina, runners-up in the previous two seasons, play Panathinaikos.
Ties will be played on Thursday March 6 and Thursday March 13.
