Chelsea duo set for Stamford Bridge stay

The Telegraph understands that Chelsea will not move to sell Tiemoue Bakayoko or Alvaro Morata this summer.

Both players have fallen somewhat short of expectation in their first season at Stamford Bridge but neither will be let go unless they request to leave.

Bakayoko has racked up thirty-nine appearances for the Blues in all competitions since signing from Monaco in the summer of 2017, scoring three goals.

Morata signed from Real Madrid for a club record fee last July and has since played forty-three times, scoring fourteen goals – eleven of which have come in the Premier League.

Last season’s Premier League champions are in danger of missing out on qualifying for next season’s Champions League as they sit five points behind fourth place Tottenham Hotspur with just four games to play.

Next up for Antonio Conte’s side is a trip to relegation threatened Swansea City on Saturday afternoon with the away win priced at 4/9.
