Chelsea pair Shaun Wright-Phillips and Steve Sidwell are set to stay at Stamford Bridge this summer; at least until they know who the new manager is according to the Daily Mail.
Sidwell made an unimpressive start to his Chelsea career and as expected played little part in their campaign this season. Whereas Wright-Phillips has now spent his third season on the bench at Stamford Bridge after signing from Manchester City for £21 Million in July 2005.
Both players have been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with Wright-Phillips reportedly off to Portsmouth for £8 million and Sidwell set to join Aston Villa for £5 million, despite signing on a free-transfer and playing little part in the season.
However, the pair are said to be waiting for the new manager to join Chelsea and then will find out if they are wanted under a new era at Stamford Bridge.
