Chelsea are interested in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer of 2021, according to Eurosport. It has been reported that there are hold-ups over the terms of an agreement regarding a new contract between the goalkeeper and the Italian club, and the Blues are ready to take advantage of that.
Donnarumma is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but the Italy international goalkeeper is out of contract at Milan at the end of the season. The 22-year-old reportedly wants a yearly salary of £9.1 million, and former Premier League champions Chelsea are willing to pay it.
The youngster has been on the books of Milan since 2013 and has played over 200 Serie A games for the Rossoneri. The 22-year-old is brilliant between the posts, and given his extensive experience, he would be a very good signing for Chelsea, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
