Chelsea are interested in signing Marc Guehi from London and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Blues are on the hunt for a new defender, and that Guehi is on their radar.
Guehi came through the Chelsea youth academy, but the defender failed to establish himself in the Blues’ first team and had loan spells at Swansea City. Having joined Palace in 2021, the England international centre-back has established himself as one of the best young defenders in the Premier League.
The defender has made 101 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Guehi has scored three goals, given two assists, and has kept 22 clean sheets in those games. Chelsea are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, while Palace will hope to end the campaign in the top four.
