Chelsea eye Dann move

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann, according to the Mail Online.

The Blues are set to turn their attention to the former Blackburn Rovers man, with long term target John Stones of Everton looking more likely to join Manchester City.

Dann moved to Selhurst Park from Ewood Park in January 2014 and has since racked up eighty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring ten goals – five of which have come in the league so far this season, as many as outgoing captain John Terry managed in the whole of the 2014/15 title winning campaign.

Having began his career with Walsall, Dann moved to Coventry City before switching to Birmingham City and then on to Blackburn.

Guus Hiddink’s side came from behind to beat Southampton on Saturday afternoon and will look to follow that result with victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Tuesday evening.
